Elizabeth and Bill are fulfilling a lifetime dream of owning their own business. They consider themselves blessed that their business is built around Elizabeth’s passion – knitting! Grandma Dorothy and the Eager Beavers 4-H Club taught Elizabeth to knit as a child. She picked up knitting again about 10 years ago and it has become an absolute obsession. Seeing a need for unique, artisanal fibers --- KnitKnit was created.

The store name … Elizabeth’s nephew has called her KnitKnit since he could talk. She was always knitting around him and he was totally enthralled with knitting needles. George would point to the chair she usually sat in and would say “KnitKnit”.

It stuck and now most of her family refers to her as KnitKnit. Bill is a college football player with a degree in Chemistry. He finds watching someone knit to be very calming but watching someone frog their project is completely unnerving! Bill is a people person and cannot wait to meet all of KnitKnit’s customers. He is eager to learn what our customers want and to help them carry all their parcels to their cars. Every store needs some eye candy …. Right?

Our vision for KnitKnit is to build a community. KnitKnit is a place to be where people gather to share projects, ideas, techniques, etc and, of course, we would like you to buy a few skeins of our sumptuous yarns too.

PAYMENT

We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover. We also accept personal checks and, of course, cash.
