    Raven Ridge Fiber Arts Trunk Show

    Rickie is coming back to KnitKnit for one night only!!! Come see all of her new colorways and look at her amazing samples. There will be plenty of new Raven Ridge fiber to purchase and to inspire for all of your fall projects.


  • Apple Yarns KAL – September 10
    KnitKnit CDA

    This September we are hosting the first Apple Fiber Studio KAL. The pattern is Ripple Effect by Claudia Barbo. Ripple Effect is a generous bias shawl in a simple Shetland lace pattern. Perfect for adventurous beginners to advanced knitters. We will be knitting on Wednesday evenings in conjunction with Knit Night.

    The KAL will begin on Tuesday, August 14th and run for 8 weeks … ending October 9th. You can swing by The STUDIO every Tuesday and work on your sweater - shop hours are 9am until 8pm.


  • Rainy Day Fiber Co. Trunk Show - Saturday, October 13

    KnitKnit will be hosting local indie dyer Nancy Olfs & her Rainy Day Fiber Co. We will extending our hours for this special event! We cannot wait to see what colors and bases Nancy has.



  • Knitting for Beginners – Technique Class
    If you have never held a pair of needles in your hands or if you are looking to freshen up your skills, sign up for this class. We will teach you everything you need to get started on a long and satisfying knitting career. This is a 2-session class and each session is 2 hours … We will cover casting on, knitting, purling and binding off. This class will also include a “How to Knit” booklet published by The National NeedleArts Association. Please note that this is not a project class, we will simply be practicing the basics of beginner knitting.

    Materials: Light color worsted weight yarn that is wound and ready to knit and US7 or US8 needles.

  • Toph Hat – Project Class
    This has to be the MOST popular sample I have ever knit for KnitKnit CDA and now it is a class. This is a serious class that requires solid intermediate knitting skills. We will be using such techniques as provisional cast on, Kitchener stitch and German short rows … you don’t need to know how to do those things but you need to be confident enough in your knitting skills to want to learn them. This pattern is brilliantly written and is so much fun to knit. It is appreciated that you purchase your class materials from any KnitKnit shop. This helps us provide you with more fresh and fun classes in the future.

  • All About That Brioche – Project Class
    Join Carmen at The Studio to work some squishy brioche magic! This interactive class will be using "All About That Brioche" by Lisa Hannes/maliha designs pattern. This 2-color shawl is a perfect pattern to challenge your Brioche skills … and dare I say we are only 23 weeks away from the gift giving season!! Make it for you or for someone special. There is homework for this project that must be completed before the first class.

  • Basic Christmas Stocking
    Are you ready to start the holiday tradition of handknit Christmas stockings? YES … then we are here to help. We will instruct you through the Basic Christmas Stocking pattern by Churchmouse Yarns during this 2-session class. We will also offer an optional 3rd session for embellishments … we can work on your duplicate stitch technique, adding a chart into your pattern, pompoms, buttons … so many options.

    This class includes 2 skeins of Shepherd’s Wool Worsted weight yarn and the printed pattern.

Classes are limited in size and are filled on a first-come, first served basis. To sign up please call us or stop by the shop where the class is being held.

All classes and workshops require payment in full upon registration. Students must call 48 hours in advance if they are unable to attend a class and may rebook for another class or receive a store credit. No refunds are issued for missed classes. If we cancel a class, you’ll receive a full refund.

We do not offer make-ups or credit for missed classes. Out of respect to your instructor and classmates, we kindly ask that you be on time.

Classes begin promptly at the advertised time. Please arrive a few minutes early to make sure you have the necessary supplies. Yarn sold in a hank or skein must be wound into a ball before class.

Yarn and other supplies for all classes are available at KnitKnit, the Studio and can be purchased any time before the class begins. Just make sure to leave yourself plenty of time to fondle all the yarn. Registered students receive 10% off all class supplies.
