  • Are you knitting? for Beginners
    If you have never held a pair of needles in your hands or if you are looking to freshen up your skills, sign up for this class. We will teach you everything you need to get started on a long and satisfying knitting career: casting on, knitting, purling and binding off. This is a 2-session class, about 2 hours per session. Cost is $45.

    Worsted weight, wound yarn and size 7 needles.

  • Modern Mukluks
    This class is the ultimate for gift knitting. Absolutely everyone would love to get a pair of these Wanderers: Modern Mukluks by Andrea Mowrey. This September class will give you plenty of time to make many, many pairs for the upcoming holidays.

    This class includes 2 skeins of Shepherd’s Wool Worsted weight yarn and the printed pattern for $65.00.

  • Stranded Sweater Class
    Join us on this journey to make a classic stranded colorwork sweater. This series will run for 8-weeks beginning on Tuesday, September 19 and ending on Tuesday, November 7 from 12:00pm until 2:00pm. We will work with each attendee on picking the correct yarn, understanding the pattern, calculating gauge, finding the right size, colorwork and stranding techniques… all the way to finishing techniques and blocking your finished garment. This is an amazing opportunity for anyone wanting to knit a sweater but needing a little guidance along the way.

    The fee for this class is $85.00 and yarn for the project must be purchased at KnitKnit. All materials purchased for classes is eligible for a 10% discount.

  • Basic Christmas Stocking
    Are you ready to start the holiday tradition of handknit Christmas stockings? YES … then we are here to help. We will instruct you through the Basic Christmas Stocking pattern by Churchmouse Yarns during this 2-session class. We will also offer an optional 3rd session for embellishments … we can work on your duplicate stitch technique, adding a chart into your pattern, pompoms, buttons … so many options.

    This class includes 2 skeins of Shepherd’s Wool Worsted weight yarn and the printed pattern for $65.00.

  • Boot Toppers
    This fun and funky class will leave you inspired to create more designs and knit more boot toppers for all your friends. This 2-hour class will involve knitting in the round, using a cable needle, casting on and binding off.

    This class includes Shepherd’s Wool Worsted weight yarn and the printed pattern for $40.00.

  • Bulky Cowl
    Sometimes you just need a project that provides instant gratification …. This is that project. Think big needles, big yarn and BIG FUN!!!! Come spend a Saturday afternoon at KnitKnit in downtown Coeur d’Alene, working on a simple cowl pattern that will help you take your knitting skills to the next level or if you are an experienced knitter come relax and work on a perfect holiday gift. We will provide the pattern, drinks and snacks for $35.00. Yarn for this class must be purchased at KnitKnit, all materials purchased for classes are eligible for a 10% discount.

  • Toe Up Socks
    This class will teach you to knit toe up socks and includes a skein of Arne & Carlos or Vesper Sock Yarn. Materials required are size 1 needles ... We use 2 circulars needles with a cable length of 12", 16" or 24" cable. This is an intermediate knitting skills class.

    The first session of Sock Class will be about the Turkish Cast On and working through the toe increases and the gusset increases. The second class will be about turning the heel and the third session is all about the stretchy cast off and finishing your sock. Cost is $65.

    You will need 2 size #1 circular needles preferably one metal and one bamboo.

  • Sunday, September 24th
    Sabrina's trunk show is at KnitKnit, Coeur d'Alene, and she'll be giving a lecture starting at 1 pm! After that, she'll open all her vintage suitcases for you to snuggle and squish all of the beautiful Anzula yarn! It'll only be for two hours, though, so make sure you don't miss it!

    Please contact KnitKnit, Coeur d'Alene to register. In true KnitKnit fashion there will be tasty nibbles, refreshing beverages, prizes and YARN! Lots and Lots of YARN!!!

 

 

Classes are limited in size and are filled on a first-come, first served basis. To sign up please call us or stop by the shop where the class is being held.

All classes and workshops require payment in full upon registration. Students must call 48 hours in advance if they are unable to attend a class and may rebook for another class or receive a store credit. No refunds are issued for missed classes. If we cancel a class, you’ll receive a full refund.

We do not offer make-ups or credit for missed classes. Out of respect to your instructor and classmates, we kindly ask that you be on time.

Classes begin promptly at the advertised time. Please arrive a few minutes early to make sure you have the necessary supplies. Yarn sold in a hank or skein must be wound into a ball before class.

Yarn and other supplies for all classes are available at KnitKnit, the Studio and can be purchased any time before the class begins. Just make sure to leave yourself plenty of time to fondle all the yarn. Registered students receive 10% off all class supplies.
