  • Knit Night at KnitKnit, the Studio
    Knit Night at KnitKnit, the Studio in Spangle. Please join us from 5pm until 8pm for a relaxing evening on the prairie for social knitting and friendship

  • Rainy Day Fiber Co. Trunk Show - Saturday, October 13
    KnitKnit CDA

    KnitKnit will be hosting local indie dyer Nancy Olfs & her Rainy Day Fiber Co. We will be opened until 6pm for this special event. We cannot wait to see what colors and bases Nancy has … there will be an exclusive colorway being debuted at our trunk show.



  • Knitting for Beginners – Technique Class
    If you have never held a pair of needles in your hands or if you are looking to freshen up your skills, sign up for this class. We will teach you everything you need to get started on a long and satisfying knitting career. This is a 2-session class and each session is 2 hours … We will cover casting on, knitting, purling and binding off. This class will also include a “How to Knit” booklet published by The National NeedleArts Association. Please note that this is not a project class, we will simply be practicing the basics of beginner knitting.

    Materials: Light color worsted weight yarn that is wound and ready to knit and US7 or US8 needles.

  • Let’s Talk Sweaters – Round Table Classes
    For 8 weeks Kris is going to share all her sweater knitting tips and tricks … you will learn more about positive/negative ease, how to measure yourself for pattern fit and even how to adjust patterns to work for your style. This class will be limited to 6 people so sign up early.

  • Entrelac Shawlette Class
    Join Kris at The Studio to learn the beautiful technique called Entrelac. This is an intermediate level class. The pattern used for this class is Carrie by Heather Boos, it can be downloaded from Ravelry or purchased at The Studio. We suggest using Zauberball Crazy or Cotton yarn. This variegated yarn makes knitting this long shawlette a complete joy … watching the colors combine and change!

  • Local Roots Mukluks
    This is an intermediate level class featuring the Local Roots Mukluk pattern by Andrea Mowry. The pattern can be downloaded from Ravelry or purchased at The Studio. These super cute slipper-booties are knit cuff to toe with an afterthought heel and kitchener stitch toe. The texture is created by a gorgeous cable stitch. You will probably have to knit more than one pair because your friends and family will want them!!!!

Classes are limited in size and are filled on a first-come, first served basis. To sign up please call us or stop by the shop where the class is being held.

All classes and workshops require payment in full upon registration. Students must call 48 hours in advance if they are unable to attend a class and may rebook for another class or receive a store credit. No refunds are issued for missed classes. If we cancel a class, you’ll receive a full refund.

We do not offer make-ups or credit for missed classes. Out of respect to your instructor and classmates, we kindly ask that you be on time.

Classes begin promptly at the advertised time. Please arrive a few minutes early to make sure you have the necessary supplies. Yarn sold in a hank or skein must be wound into a ball before class.

Yarn and other supplies for all classes are available at KnitKnit, the Studio and can be purchased any time before the class begins. Just make sure to leave yourself plenty of time to fondle all the yarn. Registered students receive 10% off all class supplies.
